Have an Insignia 26" NS-LCD26 LCD TV that I was given. Was told if I can fix it I can have it.
TV powers on and unit takes about 3-4 seconds for display to show on. Once display is on, picture and sound can be hear.
A: I'll assume that you checked for ESR and not just capacitance with your capacitor tester. Scope the power supply voltages. They will either be within tolerance, stable and relatively noise free or they won't. If one or more of the output voltages drops significantly when the display goes out, you'll need to find out why.

I still suspect the power supply especially for video section. Because the power in the video section is partially shorted. Like you said the tv with screen stayed fora while & went blank after few second. This means you already you know. I think.
garden themed party ideas?
Q: this years party theme is garden/gardening. we have a pool so dont need activities but looking for decoration ideas. we dont really have trees to hang things from. plan on using planters for utensil holders, etc. usually bout 75-100 people, 20 or so of them kids aged 4-11.
