A: i assume you mean the crema on the espresso, as opposed to 'it doesn't foam the milk'.

if so the machine may be OK, but you are probably using stale, pre-ground coffee

get down to your local gourmet coffee roaster & get them to grind you some freshly roasted beans

A Le Petit Theatre de Terrebonne fundraiser is scheduled for Aug. 5-7 at the theater, 7829 Main St., Houma. Members of the Houma theater’s board of directors will star in “Fractured Fairy Tales,” a skewed look at some of the most popular nursery rhymes. Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Aug. 5 and 6, and 2 p.m. Aug. 7. Tickets cost $25 per person. The money will be used to make upgrades to the theater. The Bayou Playhouse continues to celebrate Tennessee Williams’ 100-year birthday with performances of “The Glass Mendacity,” a comical tribute that takes a poke at Williams’ three most celebrated American classic dramas, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” “A Streetcar Named Desire” and “The Glass Menagerie.” “The Glass Mendacity” was written by Maureen Morley and Tom Willmorth. Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays Aug. 5 through Aug. 14 at the playhouse, 101 Main St., Lockport. This is the final play of the theater’s third season. Season 4 will be announced in the upcoming weeks. Tickets cost $23.
